I purchased the Cassidy bronze singe faucet for bath. I need to fill the two holes on each side as they were 6 " and not 4". Are there bronze plugs available for purchase?

Hi, Nancy. Thank you for your question. We do not manufacture plugs for sink application. The escutcheon plate for the Delta 597LF-MPU faucet is a 4" center installation and will not cover 6" installation. Best Regards, Rosanna

Do I need a thick deck mounting kit?

Reading reviews of another delta faucet I learned that some cannot be installed on standard 1 1/4" thick granite or quartz vanity top without also purchasing a delta thick deck mounting extension kit. Can this faucet be installed on 1 1/4 vanity tops or would I need to purchase an additional product? Thank you

How do I remove the metal pop-up piece from the sink?  The small lever on the back of the faucet raises and lowers the metal pop-up, but I cannot remove it completely to clean out hair from it.

Hi, JStar! Thank you for your question. There is a small pivot seal and gasket that would need to be unscrewed to remove the stopper from the horizontal rod underneath the sink. Once this is unscrewed off, you can remove the stopper from above the sink. Does this faucet swivel?

We just installed the Cassidy 597LF bathroom faucet. When we turn on the cold water it’s fine but the hot water is about 1/2 the flow rate as the cold. is there an adjustment to make the hot water flow rate higher.

Hi, Ksanders78! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your Delta faucet. You may need to flush out the valve body. To flush out the valve body, first turn off the water supply to the faucet.           1. Remove the handle. On the lever handle, you should find a small hex screw that can be loosened with a 3/32" Allen wrench. The handle will lift off when this screw is loose enough.           2. Once the handle has been removed, unscrew the dome-shaped cap. The domed shaped cap will unscrew counter-clockwise.            3. Unscrew the bonnet nut under the cap.          4. After these parts have been removed, you can then pull the valve cartridge assembly straight out.           5. Now, with the valve completely disassembled, place a bucket upside down over the top of the empty brass valve body. Turn the hot and cold water supplies back on and let the water run for about 10 to 15 seconds. The water will come directly up out of the valve and should mostly be deflected back into the sink by the bucket. You might have a little bit of water to clean up, though!           6. Shut off the water supplies. Make sure that the valve cartridge assembly does not have any debris stuck to them and reinstall them. Reinstall the valve cartridge assembly. Reinstall all parts. At this point, you can test the faucet again. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358.
