Great faucet
We bought this faucet and have used it for several weeks. It replaced a newer faucet that had terrible water pressure. This faucet has great water pressure and cleans things well. It is easy to clean because it has an anti-fingerprint finish. We love this faucet and would highly recommend it.

Delta Touch Faucet
Overall, we're pleased with the look and the operation of the faucet. It was a relatively simple installation although with a two bay sink, garbage disposal and water filter system, the wires, hoses and pipes under our sink are a little crowded.
The "touch" feature works well, perhaps too well. It would be nice to be able to reduce the sensitivity a little bit. Too often and "incidental" touch, or even water splashing on the faucet turns it on/off.
One specific complaint regarding the faucet. The battery pack included is cheap and poorly designed. Not what I expected for a faucet that sells for just under $400. The lid on the battery box has tabs that flex to "snap" into the box body to hold the two parts together.
Unfortunately, there is no "snap" that truly occurs since the tabs barely go into the holes. This is a problem since you have to depress contact springs from the lid onto the batteries in the box. The pressure against the lid, forces the top back off.
This is a particular problem if the lid pops off while the remote valve is in the off position (the faucet becomes inoperative until you dig thru all the junk under your sink to reconnect the battery).
Additionally, the lid has screw holes to mount to the wall inside the cabinet, but since the lid barely stays attached to the box, there is no way to mount it. Bottom line, the battery box looks like something you would get with a $30 kids toy.

Delta touch faucet
Just renovated our kitchen & the faucet looks great but I wish that it got the water a little further in the sink. I get water behind the faucet all the time from the splash. So far I’m happy with the touch option but we have only been using it for a month. Probably wouldn’t buy it again but I guess that’s what I get from ordering online.

1908 Farmhouse Renovations
I inherited my family's 1908 Farmhouse and among the antiques is the house was a kitchen sink installed in the 1950's. After many years, the kitchen sink was in need of update so I selected the Delta 9678T-DST Leland Pull-Down Spray Kitchen Faucet with Touch Clean, Touch20, MagnaTite Docking and Diamond Seal Technology. I cannot say enough good things as it has become the centerpiece of the kitchen remodel.

What is the part number for a 4" center (approx. 6" long) escutcheon plate that matches a Delta Leland 9678T -ST-DST faucet with Spotshield finish? And where can I order one?
Thank you for your inquiry, Chuck! The Delta Leland Bar/Prep 9678T-SP-DST faucet does not have a smaller escutcheon plate designed or available for it. However, this unit does have an optional escutcheon plate RP47274SP for this unit that measures at 10-3/4" .

Can this faucet be used just as a manual faucet? Right now, I can’t get water if the batteries are dead. My faucet is 4 years old.

Yes, this faucet can be used manually.
One way is with the faucet running water, disconnect the battery pack by opening it. You now have a manually operated faucet. The solenoid was open allowing water to flow through and is now stuck open because you removed the power it would use to close. Reconnecting the battery would close the solenoid and make it electronic again.
Also as a second option, the solenoid assembly may be removed, and the wand hose connected directly to the valve outlet tube.
a. Open the battery holder cap.
b. Disconnect the sensor hook(s) from the spout and/or valve shank.
c. Remove the hose clip and hose from the solenoid.
d. Remove the solenoid from the valve outlet tube by removing the clip or swinging the clip open.
e. Reconnect the hose with the hose clip to the spout outlet nipple.
The faucet is now a manually operated pulldown.

Does the Leland faucet have an internal filter or an aerator? I'm asking because recently the pressure dropped in every faucet in the house. I was able to clean the aerator of the other faucets and the pressure came back.

After installed Worked great for 3 days. Then turned on by itself. Shut off and would not work again. Unplugged adapter and would start after replugging back in but would not work once touched. Any suggestions what to do?

Inconsistent operation with your Delta Faucet LELAND® Single Handle Pull-Down Bar / Prep Faucet With Touch2O® Technology MODEL#: 9678T-SP-DST can be fixed by making some isolation adjustments. I have included some helpful troubleshooting below.
There are a couple of common adjustments that can be made to improve the faucet operation. Please make sure any wires are isolated from the solenoid box, the water supply lines, and anything else that might conduct electricity. If space is limited, we recommend a minimum of two inches of clearance, if possible. We also recommend placing the battery pack flat on the floor or as close to the ground at your feet as possible. The battery pack should have at least 2 inches of clearance from the walls or anything that can conduct electricity below the counter as the pack is also touch-sensitive.

Is there a way to adjust the hot and cold, our faucet does not provide warm water, it is either cold our scorching hot.

Thanks for your question regarding 9678T-SP-DST! The orange/red switch on the top of the Delta Valve Cartridge RP50587 is a handle limit stop which is an optional safety feature that can be used to prevent the handle from moving too far to the hot side. When it is switched all the way to the left, the handle can turn to the hottest position. When it is kept to the right, this will limit the handle to turn only halfway to the hot side.

The water flow through my Leland touch faucet is becoming very slow. The water pressure to the spray head is very good when I remove the spray head. I cannot see any deposits in the head filters. Do I need a new head?

The Delta 9678T-SP-DST has a flow rate of 1.8 GPM @ 60 PSI, If your not getting this flow rate then we would recommend soaking the wand in 50/50 white vinegar and water to break up the debris or build up.
