El acoplamiento MagnaTite® de Delta® cuenta con un potente imán integrado que permite colocar la varilla de rociado de la llave en su lugar y la sostiene allí para que permanezca acoplada cuando no está en uso. Rated 3 out of 5 by from it's fine enough Installed one of these 15 years ago. It's been a fine faucet. The little cap that covers the set screw was lost almost immediately. Today I replaced it with the same faucet and what do you know, the little plastic cap doesn't fit to cover the set screw at all. HOW have you guys not figured out in 15 years of selling this thing that the little plastic cap doesn't fit into the set screw. The shape is completely different. I tried to glue it but I'm definitely losing it into my garbage disposal eventually. The rest of the faucet is good and fine. Just a super annoying lapse in attention to detail.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Started dripping within months Had a plumber purchase and install this faucet. It was ok for a few months and then started dripping. After reading some of these reviews I’m thinking I need to replace the cartridge, but I kept thinking it was too soon. I should still be under warranty but the plumber disposed of the packaging. Is there anywhere else to find this information?

I would like to take off the faucet head because it has begun to spray - I assume build up is inside the head. I see the little piece you can push in but it doesn't want to come apart from the hose easily. Is there a trick to take the head off?

Hello Chritsy, Thank you for your inquiry! The wand/sprayer assembly of the Delta Leland Pull-Down Kitchen 978-AR-DST faucet, an be remove by simply unscrewing it from the end of the hose assembly. This should be done by hand only. Best regards, Tanya

The spec indicates a min clearance of 2.5 inches from center of hole for faucet to backsplash. I only have 2 inches.  Why is 2.5 inches needed since the handle goes forward and not back? Will 2 inches work?

Thank you for your question, Bridget! The minimum clearance to the back splash is typically suggested for lavatory models with lift rods or for models where the handle does reach backwards. This is still suggested for maximum comfort and ease of use with the handle; however this model can still work with only 2". Best regards, Edward

I see where you have answered the question about the difference between Model 9178 and 9678. What is the difference between those and Model 19978?

Hello Kathy 61, Thank you for your question. The Delta Leland Pull-Down 19978-SS-DST faucet is a Home Depot exclusive model and it is similar to the Leland 9178-AR-DST faucet. I have granite countertops with two existing holes. One hole is only 1.375" dia. Is this large enough for the handle?

What is the tubing for the pull-out spray made of? I am concerned about the materials as the drinking water is now being consumed from this spray.
