Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leakage Issue My husband I purchased a home 2.5 years ago and the builder installed this faucet on both of the bathroom sinks. The master bathroom facet is leaking into the cabinet. Water runs down the cold and hot water lines and drips into the base of the cabinet. I had a plumber look at it and he said all of the connections are tight and the only two things that could be causing the leak is the aerator or inside the faucet due to faulty parts. The plumber replaced the aerator, but the faucet still leaks. I called both the builder, who would not help us because the home is out of its one-year warranty, and the plumber who installed it and they would not help us either. I suppose I will have to order this facet and replace it myself. So frustrating to have a home for just 2.5 years and have replace facets already.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE finish and HORRIBLE customer service We recently built a house with a new home building company and these faucets were installed in matte black. They were beautiful but started chipping within the 1st month. When we tried to have them replaced under warranty we were denied because we used a magic eraser sponge to clean them just once. 1st, we received no instructions on how to clean them, 2nd they started chipping BEFORE that sponge was used, 3rd I looked up the instructions and no where do they state not to use a magic eraser. They said I should have known to only use a cloth and water to clean them. These are bathroom faucets. I don't know many people that feel their bathroom is clean after just using water to clean, gross. So beware on not just this product but all delta junk products. The quality of products seem to just be going down the drain and there is no integrity on the company's part.

Can this faucet be installed without the baseplate?

We have a 3 hole sink and would like to install the spout and handles directly on the sink surface without the baseplate. Can we do this and if so are all the parts we would need to do this included?

I have the 2564-mpu-dst faucet and it has a leak on the underside of the sink from the hot water handle. Do I need to replace the whole gasket plate which would require me to remove the entire faucet from the countertop?

How do I remove aerator on this faucet model to clean?

Hi Twauna, Thank you so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The Ashlyn 2564-MPU-DST includes the Delta RP54977-1.2 aerator and wrench and the wrench can be used to remove the aerator. From there the spout body can be flushed clean and the aerator can be rinsed and soaked in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for 15-30 minutes. Please reach out with further questions! How do I disassemble the faucet of  model Delta Ashlyn 1.2 GPM Centerset Bathroom Faucet with Metal Drain Assembly Model:2564-MPU-DST in order to clean the aerator which is clogged. I removed the set screws but I cannot get the facing off. Thanks

RP83791 Are the hot and cold indicators for the faucet.  It looks like there are screw threads where the hot and cold indicators go.  Is there a screw that goes with the indicators?When I put the indicators in they are not very secure and easily fall out.

Low flow on our Delta Faucet ASHLYN® Two Handle Centerset Bathroom Faucet MODEL#: 2564-MPU-DST is normally caused by a blockage or debris, We would recommend flushing the unit. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. There a tiny leak running down the hot water tube where the tubing feeds into the main housing from below. Does the whole faucet have to be replaced? or can it be repaired?

I have a new home and have all Delta faucets. Some of the blue and red color inserts (cold or hot water identifiers) are missing and I would like to know if you could send me some. Delta faucet 2564 are the model numbers - we have 5 faucets. Thank you

Do you have cleaning tips for all of the Ashlyn line?  The builder tossed all the manuals/paperwork and we want to avoid the white residue we have seen on other dark bronze fixtures.

Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to the build-up of mineral deposits, and we recommend blotting the faucet dry after use to prevent this from happening. However, water spots and fingerprints can be easily cleaned by wiping the finish with a damp cloth. If additional cleaning is needed, we recommend using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. The cold water handle on this sink faucet (Ashlyn, MODEL#: 2564-SSMPU-DST) has come loose. On page 10 of the Maintenance and Installation Sheet, it doesn't mention how to remove the handle button. I don't want to damage it. Help!

This sink has had a tiny leak somewhere around where the tubing feeds into the main housing from below.  How do I find out if this is under warranty?

Hi my factory pex lines continue to drip from the faucet body on the hot water inlet. I cannot find a way fix this.

We recommend flushing and cleaning the valve to remove any debris. Then, make sure the bonnet nut is securely tightened with a wrench to seal the valve. What will cause both hot and cold water to not flow when turned on? We have a number of these faucets throughout the house and all others are working properly.

How do I remove the aerators to clean?
