I can’t take it getting wet every time i use the sink or using the sink as a trickle if I want to avoid this. I’m hoping the issue is that the spout is not aerated. I’m going to replace with something aerated and see what happens.

Customer service sent an endless supply of replacement parts, none of which remediate the problem. I do not recommend this product or Delta/Brizo products in general.

Handle direction

When properly installed should the handles pull toward or away from you?

What parts of this faucet are made of plastic? and What parts are made of metal?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 3553LF-SS is made of low lead brass. There are some non-metallic parts like the hoses but it is mostly brass.

The holes were made too big in the countertop for the handles. Is there anything we can do? The faucet fits fine. Thanks

Hi, Foxden! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. The hole size for each hole should be 1 5/16"~1 1/2" (33~38 mm). Delta lavatory faucet model number 3553LF-SS, will this faucet work for 3 cm granite

If not can it be retro fitted for 3cm use.

I purchased this product not realizing the specs stated it was ok for up to 29mm (just under 3cm for standard granite thickness). The faucet was installed in a granite vanity and after getting the handles pushed down all the way, it is working fine. I am not sure why Delta states it won't work.

How do you increase the water flow.

Hi, Dcware! Thank you for your question. There is not a way to increase the flow rate for the Delta 3553LF-SS Faucet. This faucet has a flow rate of 1.20 gpm @ 60 psi. The unit is Water-Efficient and WaterSense® Labeled. WaterSense® labeled faucets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance. What is the maximum deck thickness for installation?

What is the maximum deck thickness for installation? The spec sheet says 1 1/8" but I saw a post that this had been increased recently to accommodate thicker granite installations? Hi Frustrated, Thank you for your question. In response to the trend of thicker counter top surfaces all of the recent and new wide spread lavatory faucets have a max deck thickness of 2-1/4".
