Mostly ok but shower control in guest bath first leaked, and after plumber repair, shower water is only luke warm. (Is satisfactory in adjacent sink.) Kitchen sink faucet control has also been a pain.

Is this trim compatible with older Monitor 1400 Series?

I have an older Delta Monitor 1400 series currently installed (installed around 1996) and am looking to replace what I have with this trim. I also intend on replacing the cartridge with a new Delta cartridge while I have it apart ( Delta Cartridge Assembly Model # RP19804). Question is whether these two items are compatible with what I already have and will this be a simple swap out?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # BT14096-SS will work with your older valve as long as your don't use the cartridge that is included in your new trim package. The RP19804 is the correct cartridge for your older valve.

The eschuson is too short I need the 3.5" in Oil rubbed bronze not the 2.5" that comes with it. Do you have it? The original chrome one is 3.5"

The one I am replacing is an old Delta shower valve set. Its the contractor grade that came with the house when it was built 15 years ago. Its just the standard chrome eschuson and the and back plate the clear plastic round. That eschuson is 3.5in and the one in this kit is shorter leaving the valve housing exposed by an inch. Need one in oil rubbed bronze.

BT 14096-OB and BT 14096-SS are the Trim Valves that we are using. I am doing Shower only...my contractor wants a threaded Rough-In. Can I use the R10000-IPWS?

Hello, I have an older Delta 1400 series trim kit in my Shower, in satin chrome. I want to replace the trim and cartidge with a newer Bronze version from Delta. Which current trim models fits this older setup ? Thank you

Your trim can be a 600 series that uses an RP17443 handle. What if you have unscrewed it and the handle does not just slide right off

We recommend soaking in 50/50 white vinegar and water to dissolve the deposits, then rinsing. Using a wet rag or a plastic bag and rubber band can help with soaking. How can I just get the knob my delta shower is 8 years old and the cartridge was leaking and it calcium up the knob and I am going to have to cut it off

Please grab a washcloth and a small bag. Mix a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water, drench the washcloth and place it around your handle. Then put the bag over top of the washcloth to lock in the fumes from the vinegar and let it soak overnight. This will loosen debris and buildup so it is easier to remove, and to avoid cutting off your handle. We appreciate your inquiry and look forward to better serving you in the future. I purchased the BT14096-OB and need to use a 4 port valve rough in assembly. The R10000-UNBX or R10000-UNBXHF have only 3 ports. I need the water to go the tub first, then when I pull the tub diverter stopper I need the water to go to the shower.

I want to replace a tub/shower fixture that has five openings (shower head, on/off/temp control, tub spout, tub stopper on wall of tub, and drain). Does this model come with all those components or do I need to order some separately (please list for SS)?

Other parts of your choice would need to be purchased separately. Such as a valve rough R10000, a showerhead like RP72856SS, a shower arm like RP6023SS, a flange like RP6025SS, a tub spout like RP48718SS, a tub drain like RP31558SS, and an overflow plate like RP7424SS. What all does this come with? I just need a replacement handle. My old stem was corroded to the handle and I can't get the handle on the new stem.

If the Delta Faucet R10000-UNBX rough-in valve in the wall was installed prior to April of 2006 then you will still use the RP19804 cartridge assembly. If the rough-in was installed after that date then you will use the RP46074 cartridge included with the BT14096-SS trim kit. what is the screw size and type in the handle. I am trying to get it off. It is not a hex on the outside it's a screw when you take the cap off the handle. Phillips slot combo. leaking faucet
