Love the flexibility

Best order processing and product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product in late summer 2016, the processing of the order was very simple. The website was very clear on what selections needed to be made and linked me to the appropriate trim selection. Once the order was completed the product arrived in just a few days, and I completed the installation. The included instructions were very clear. The product has been in use since and performing very well.

Short term test
It's a great unit. It fits and looks great! I don't care for the seat all that much-it's a little too thin. It bends when you sit on it-I'm only a 190 pound guy! I really haven't had the chance to use it for a long enough of a time to objectively evaluate this product.

Absolutely love our new shower. Our 10 year old grandaughter says it is like being in a luxurious hotel.

Necessary item.
Works well so that you don't have temperature changes if someone turns on water somewhere else in the house. This items was a recommended need if you had a new set up to do for your Delta shower faucet.

Only one warning
I installed this unit just before Christmas. It went in easy and the instructions were detailed. The only warning that I could provide is that after plumbing it, don't turn on the water until you plub the tub and shower outlet. I installed the unit and wanted to turn the water back on before finishing the tiling and installing the actural valve. The pressure testing seal does not stop water from coming out of the tub or shower outlets, and there is no warning about that in the instructions. Otherwise it was a great experience.

I bought the Delta Trinsic Shower Set with these two valves: R10000-UNWSHF and R11000 (diverter rough in). I am wondering if there are valves with the female thread (these have male threads). Thanks! Lisa
Thank you for your question, Lisa. The R10000-IP and R10000-IPWS will have female 1/2" threads. We do not make a High-Flow version of the valve. However, the tub spout port can be capped off for shower-only installations. We do not make a version of the R11000 valve with female threads, but you can use adapters available locally or online to convert the connections to female threads.

Can you use the Lahara T17T238 stainless steel trim with a R10000 rough valve body?

Does this valve come with the cartridge, trim plate and handle?

Thank you for your inquiry! The cartridge assembly, trim plate and handle(s) would come with the Trim kits. Any of the Delta 13, 14, 17, or 17T series trim kits that we currently make will work with this Delta MultiChoice Universal Rough-In R10000-IP valve.

I used the RP19804 cartridge with this valve body - but the shower keeps going at full blast even when cartridge is at the full off position
Replaced the shower valve body with R10000-ip and cartridge with RP19804 cartridge - but the shower keeps going at full blast even when cartridge is at the full off position.
Is there a version of the RP19804 which is white and grey ( instead of the normal white and blue) which should be used ?

To use a 1400 series trim you will need the MultiChoice cartridge RP46074. The legs of the cartridge are longer than on the RP19804.

Can I use the r10000unbx with the t14286-she trim kit? I bought the r1100 and that apparently was incorrect.....thanks for the help.....
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. The R10000-UNBX is the correct rough in valve to use with the T14286 shower trim. You can also use the R10000-UNBXHF rough made for shower only installations.

I have Delta T11851 Dryden 3 Setting Diverter, Chrome... Would it work with R10000-1P rough in valve?

What are the dimensions of the R10000-IP model? The specifications diagram does not show this model with dimensions. Please explain. Am I missing something? Thank you.

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Rough-In Valve R10000-IP has the same dimensions as the R10000-UN valve. However, the IP has female 1/2" threaded connections.
