Rated 1 out of 5 by from 4 yr old expensive faucet LEAKS - Not recommended This faucet was purchased new in October 2019 through our contractor and installed by plumbing professionals in our newly rehabbed kitchen. In July, 2023, I noticed water damage under the sink where this faucet has been leaking for some time. After investigating further, I could see water leaking from the handles and faucet , over the deck and apparently under the deck where it pooled and dripped down onto the wood cabinet flooring under the sink area. The wood flooring of the cabinet under the sink is humped up from the water damage on our new custom kitchen cabinets ! Why should we pay for a plumber to repair the defective DELTA parts on an expensive 4 year old DELTA kitchen faucet?? We paid for a higher dollar DELTA product thinking it was a well made product with a good reputation and are VERY disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frustrating Features Why make a faucet that can't be adapted to a water filter?I need to filter for lead. Cat use any adapters with this style. Also why hide a screen that need ots own special tool to remove? If you lose it you're out of luck. And the tool is frustrating to use. If I knew about these features before having plumber install I would have not purchased.

Can this faucet be mounted without the base plate?

Because of the sink set-up I have to mount the faucet spout at the right, and both handles to the left of the spout.

Does the aerator have standard threads so I can move it and attach my water filter?

How do I remove the bezzel on the faucet to install a water filter?

I bought a PUR water filter that mounts on the faucet, I can't seem to get the flared end off to install the new adaptor. Any ideas?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2497LF-AR has a cache aerator which means it is hidden. We do offer an adapter to turn your aerator into a 55/64" - 27 male thread aerator. The model number is RP51505.

Can I attach a portable dishwasher with adaptor RP51505

Hi Lois, Thank you for your question! The RP51505 adapter will fit the 2497LF faucet. However, I do not have any information on if your portable dishwasher will fit our adapter which has a thread size of female metric 21.5X 1-6 g thread or 55/64”-27 thread. Best regards, Brandis

The spayer hose is too short for my newly installed faucet. Does Delta make a hose longer than 36 inches that will work with this faucet??

When my new countertop/sink was installed today, there wasn't enough room on the right of the faucet for the sprayer. So I had it installed on the left of the sink and the hose is too short to adequately reach to the right sink.
