RESEÑAS
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Customer Service I installed Delta faucets in my new home 12 years ago. The kitchen faucet Cassidy 2497LF has been replaced 2 times with leak problem both the handles and the stem. I attempted to contact Delta by E-mail with a no- reply response. I called Delta and was advised I had to take pictures and send them showing the problem. I do not have a smart phone and my son lives 60miles away has assisted in the past with re-installing. I was also advised that I needed to call Delta directly for parts and not use Lowes Store. I only have a simply request to replace my faucet, so I can have my son drive to my house to install

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Highly Functional This Delta Kitchen Faucet is beautiful and highly functional. It provides good water pressure, the separate control handles for hot and cold water make it easy to select the perfect water temperature and the separate sprayer allows me to use the faucet spout for priming water filtration filters.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 4 yr old expensive faucet LEAKS - Not recommended This faucet was purchased new in October 2019 through our contractor and installed by plumbing professionals in our newly rehabbed kitchen. In July, 2023, I noticed water damage under the sink where this faucet has been leaking for some time. After investigating further, I could see water leaking from the handles and faucet , over the deck and apparently under the deck where it pooled and dripped down onto the wood cabinet flooring under the sink area. The wood flooring of the cabinet under the sink is humped up from the water damage on our new custom kitchen cabinets ! Why should we pay for a plumber to repair the defective DELTA parts on an expensive 4 year old DELTA kitchen faucet?? We paid for a higher dollar DELTA product thinking it was a well made product with a good reputation and are VERY disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaking faucet Had this faucet installed after a house fire. It’s been 3 years and my husband has replaced parts in the handles, now the neck is leaking! Not happy with this faucet at all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta kitchen faucet review Our previous faucet was leaking at the base, purchased this and even though I am not a plumber, I was able to install it with minimal effort

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Deck plate As you can tell from the many questions, this faucet would be much prettier if it could be installed without the deck plate and I would be buying it for my new home. Instead I will find one that looks like this somewhere else without the deck plate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frustrating Features Why make a faucet that can't be adapted to a water filter?I need to filter for lead. Cat use any adapters with this style. Also why hide a screen that need ots own special tool to remove? If you lose it you're out of luck. And the tool is frustrating to use. If I knew about these features before having plumber install I would have not purchased.

If the diverter in my faucet is broken, would it cause no water at all to come out the spout? All of a sudden out of the blue, no water comes out the spout and it is getting water to the faucet, so I took the neck off to make sure it wasn't clogged.

Asked by: Bostock1957
Hello Bostock1957, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available for our Delta Faucet Cassidy™ Two Handle Kitchen Faucet With Spray In Venetian Bronze MODEL#: 2497LF-RB, and I am happy to help you! Low flow is normally caused by debris or blockage, with this I would ask that you do a whole faucet flush. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need a 1/8” Allen wrench if you have lever handles, a Philips screwdriver if you have knob handles, a towel, and a bucket. Please remove your handle with the 1/8" Allen wrench if you have a lever or remove the top cap to reveal the Philips screw if you have a knob handle, then pull the handle off of the stem unit. You will now see a bonnet nut, please remove it with your wrench. Please take note of how your stem units are installed in the valve. Please lift straight up to pull the stem units out and If you look into the valve, you should see a seat and spring. Please pull these pieces out before we flush. Next place the towel behind the back of the faucet, then put the bucket over the top of the towel. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side, flush that out as well. Lastly, remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

I have a Cassidy Two handle kitchen faucet that is seeping water from under the Hot water handle. I've removed the set screw from the side of the handle assembly to remove it, but the assembly will NOT come up off the faucet. What do I do now?

Asked by: Big Ed
Dear Big Ed, Thank you for your question! I will be happy to assist. Looking into this, with a stuck handle we would recommend soaking in 50/50 white vinegar and water. The handle was stuck due to the amount of calcium and mineral buildup due to the leaking. Please let us know if you need any further assistance, we will be happy to help you! Best Regards, Kyra

I just installed this faucet and With either hot or cold at almost full water volume - the faucet sings a note.  What is causing this and how can I make this noise go away?

Asked by: TomB934
Hi TomB934, Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! I recommend adjusting the water supply valves. A pressure that is too high or too low can cause noise. I also recommend flushing the faucet to remove any trapped debris. First, flush with the aerator removed and next with the stems, seats, and springs removed if needed. See here for flushing instructions: https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/Why-does-my-faucet-have-low-water-pressure-1628028366405 Please reach out for further assistance or with any questions! What material are the parts of this faucet made of? Thank you!

Asked by: Barbara
Hello Barbara, Thank you for your question! I am sorry that the information you are inquiring about the Delta Faucet Two Handle Kitchen Faucet With Spray, model 2497LF, is not readily available; however, I am happy to help you. The faucet body, spout, and handle are metal. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used; however, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). Quality is of high importance to us, and our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high-quality performance. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. Please contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer! Best Regards, Emma
