Sprayer has plenty of force and the nozzle pulls in and out with ease. I use Delta because they stand behind their products. Plumbers like delta because you can get parts easy if you ever need them which is not very often. I recommend this faucet. It is highly functional and modern looking.

The hose is very flexible, making it easy to use the flow or spray options to wash food debris into the disposal. After using the pull-down spray, it retracts easily (on it's own) into the curved faucet. I love the faucet's simplicity as I am sort of a minimalist. It's gorgeous jewelry for your kitchen. I have received compliments about it's look and style. I LOVE it.

Unfortunately, the cold/hot lever doesn’t operate in a visually obvious manner since the little red and blue dots don’t correspond to the needed required directions.

After quite a few years we noticed the spray handle not clipping back on as well. I went to the Delta website to find parts and after asking a question on the site was quickly greeted by their customer service rep named Kelley. Kelley asked a few questions and found my faucet was under warranty. I was sent the replacement parts and was able to repair the faucet with no problem. I can’t remember the last time I received such good customer service. I wanted to write this review because I wanted to let others know how well I was treated by this company. Thank you Kelley and thank you Delta for backing your faucet!

The distance from the center line of the 9159-DST to a back splash is shown as 1-1/2". Same dimension for the 9159T-DST is shown as 2-1/2". Which is correct?

Is there a special tool that is needed to remove the metal cap that covers the allen screw on the handle of my MODEL#: 9159-KS-DST? My faucet handle squeeks, I want to replace the parts inside.

Someone responded that the sprayer is plastic. Are they saying that the pull out section (like the last 2 inches on the faucet) is plastic or do they mean the inside assembly of the sprayer is plastic. Also, is the water aerated?

For the 9159-DST & 9959-DST, is there a nozzle option that doesn't have a pullout hose or a nozzle head option without the sprayer and only aerator. Are there other solutions, not listed, to achieve this?

Is there a particular cleaning product I should use so as not to damage the finish? I have the brass/champagne bronze finish.

Hi there Becca, Thank you for your inquiry! A comprehensive list of cleaners is impossible to recommend because of the variety of materials that are a part of our many models of faucets. What may be fine for a spout may damage a handle. To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measure is needed, a solution of 50% white vinegar (never Apple vinegar) could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking. Caution: Vinegar can permanently damage porous rock surfaces such as granite or limestone countertops. Use extreme care if such a surface is in the vicinity. To soak a faucet or part still on a faucet: 1. Mix white vinegar and tap water to a half and half proportion. 2. Put a rag or towel in the solution to soak it up. 3. Wrap the rag or towel around the part. 4. Let sit for up to an hour or so. 5. Use the rag or a clean, soft toothbrush to scrub the remaining hard water buildup. o Avoid harsh abrasives or polish o Avoid bleach-based cleaners o Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. o Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. o Because cleaning formulas can change without notice, Delta Faucet Company does not endorse any specific cleaner.
