I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews, but decided to take a chance since I like the look. Bought the brushed nickel finish and it's beautiful. Initially, our plumber (knowing how to install faucets) skipped looking at the directions. When it didn't work properly, he had to go back and read them. After actually following the directions, they work perfectly. We've been using them flawlessly for 3 months. They look great with my waterfall tub spout too. :-)

The action on the handles is very nice and everything appears to be high quality. The one thing to note for potential purchasers is that the faucet is intentionally set askew from the mount. So, it's not going to be exactly perpendicular to your wall/backsplash. After a day or so we got used to it and are quite happy with the result, we just couldn't tell from the photos.

The faucets are very attractive transitional style and look much more expensive than they are. They have a very solid feel. One thing to note is that the drain is the pop up variety, so you have to put your hand in the water to open a closed drain. It does not bother me but just something to be aware of.

Delta always honored their lifetime warranty for parts on the old set but it was time to upgrade to a newer design. I am not a plumber but hand no problem in installing these myself. Instructions were easy to follow and minimum tools were required. I look forward to years of satisfaction as well as the Delta lifetime warranty.

Water is forced straight down and hits the drain, causing the water to spash up onto my clothing, or floor. It's unfortunate because I really like the looks of this faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Such a silly problem This may sound silly but it's really not. This spout does not have an aerator in it nor is one available. So what, you may say. Well, when you put your hands under the stream of water it splashes and water goes all over. Seriously, the mess it makes is ridiculous. I would like to think it's just me, or maybe I have a bad one, or something else since no one else seems to have the same complaint. Then I go and use it and the mess reminds me my dissatisfaction is genuine.

Instructions were sub-par. There was a screw on the bottom side of faucet that loosened components to make "straight" but this was not in instructions. Very expensive. High quality fittings.

Any cleaning tips or reccos on products for the Venetian bronze finish? I’m having some calcium buildup. The maintenance tip sheet just says warm water.

Hi, Cory! Thank you for your question. Although our finishes are extremely durable, they may be damaged by harsh abrasives or polish. To clean, we recommend simply wiping with a gentle damp cloth and then blotting dry with a soft towel. If water deposits are especially troublesome, you may use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water to remove them. White vinegar is strong enough to dissolve mineral deposits, yet mild enough not to damage our finishes. Note: Please be aware white vinegar may stain some porous materials like untreated stone. If you have an unsealed tile or counter top, please take care when cleaning your products. If you’d prefer using a chemical cleaning product, our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastic® All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturer’ instructions. Any cleaners not listed above may be tried if they do not contain hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids or similar caustic agents. Some examples of chemical cleaners to avoid are: green Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, and Soft Scrub and Tile Cleaner. Note: Any products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust will most likely harm the finished products. Most drain cleaners may be used when following their specific directions and not allowing exposure to the finish longer than 30 minutes. Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the maximum deck thickness for installation?

What is the maximum deck thickness for installation? The spec sheet says 1 1/8" but I saw a post that this had been increased recently to accommodate thicker granite installations? When properly installed should the handles pull toward or away from you?
