Great product, but THE PHOTO IS INNACURATE. There is no downward-facing threaded connection - only the 3 PEX connections left, right, and top (i.e. shower only). Fortunately that is what I wanted but be aware.

Delta valve body
I love that you can install the shower valve body and turn the water on immediately and then later go back and install the shower valve trim out. Great quality and easy installation. I purchased the thin wall installation kit to aid in installing this unit in a fiberglass shower surround. Worked perfectly.

Great multipurpose valve!
Great multipurpose valve and is easy to install! Purchased with the proper PEX fittings already installed to save time and money. The valve also contained the stops to allow the water to be turned back on once the valve was in place during rough-in. Great way to save from having to turn the water back off during Delta trim kit installation during finish work!!

I can't seem to get a clear answer. Is the shower outlet PEX connection already brazed in? In the pictures, the tub outlet is capped. Is that cap removable so I can use this model-- R10000-PFS-PXWS-- for a tub spout? Customer service did not know.

The R10000-PFS-PXWS is a shower only installation, the tub spout plug can not be removed. The PEX crimp is already manufactured and would be an adapter to your PEX connection when installed.

Shower valve is leaking, anything I can do?

We recommend replacing the seats and springs (RP4993) in the cartridge for the Delta MultiChoice® Universal Shower Rough - Prefab PEX Crimp MODEL#: R10000-PFS-PXWS. If I run 1/2" pex to a RP 100000 valve, will the RP10000 HF have more flow than RP10000 PFS PX WS?

Thank you for your question! I am happy to assist you!
For a 13/14 series multichoice series trim, the Delta R10000-PFS-PXWS receives ~ 6.5 GPM at 80 PSI, whereas the R10000-UNWSHF receives ~ 6.7 GPM. The flow rate can vary depending on the series of trim being used, as the cartridges can allow higher or lower flow.

For model R10000-PFS-PXWS, MultiChoice® Universal Shower Rough - Prefab PEX Crimp, is Delta stating that only PEX CRIMP rings are to be used, not Pex CLAMPS? Can PEX CLAMP-style rings be used on any other Delta Multichoice PEX valve (like R10000-UNWSHF)?
