Being able to shut off the water at the valve and do work on it is essential, why wouldn’t you pick this one? For a few extra dollars you buy a lot of piece of mind.

We have the above installed in our bathroom shower however, the hot water does not get as hot even with scald protector adjusted to the hottest setting. Is there a particular valve that would allow more hot water. Thanks, John

Troubleshooting a temperature issue will depend on the trim kit that is installed. If the trim includes a thermostatic cartridge, it may need to be flipped. If the cartridge is put in upside down, it can cause no water flow, low water flow, varying temperatures, or only hot or cold water. Will this diverter suffice for a shower set up that includes: shower head, handheld shower head, and tub filler? Also, I wanted to make sure that the tub filler would have the required GPM to fill the tub properly. Thanks!

The Delta Faucet model R10000-PXWS MultiChoice® Universal Tub / Shower Rough - PEX Crimp is compatible with a showerhead or hand shower and a tub spout. A diverter valve will be required to allow for more than 2 products to be connected. However, the tub spout should receive approximately 5.9 GPM at 60 PSI. I recommend also checking the size of the trim kit that will be installed to ensure the opening is cut to the correct size. What is the flow rate of the R10000-PXWS valve?

The model R10000-PX has Pex crimp inlet connections with universal type outlet fittings (1/2"NPT male thread with 1/2" copper tube female sweat). Model R10000-PXWS has the same fittings and includes integrated stops on the supplies to help with installation and maintenance if the water supply shutoffs are difficult to access. can I use it on just a shower and no tube and cap the bottom off and still work fine? Or should I go back and find the one with out a tube hookup?
