Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frustrated After the plumber installed our shower handle I told him it was not correct because the handle does not point down to the OFF position when off. He told me it was installed correctly & I defended Delta saying they would not make a handle this way. Well apparently I am wrong. I can not believe this is passable quality control. I really don't think I'm asking too much. Either fix the direction of the handle or move the location of the ON/OFF on the cover plate. Super frustrating

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality except the showerhead. Love the look and the quality with the exception of the shower head itself. It drips from the front seam where the face meets the body of the device. I especially appreciate the high flow valve body with the stops so I don't have to shut off the water to the whole house when checking or replacing the valve. I do wish the diverter valve had more flexibility. It could only be located directly above the valve and the handle could only be attached to the left of the diverter. It works great I just wanted to have it positioned on the right side.

Two questions, one about diverter valve, one about material

1. I am installing a fixed and hand shower only, no tub faucet. Do you have a diverter that allows water from both the showerhead and hand shower simultaneously? 2. What material are the trim plate and handles made of? Thank you.

Hi Crash, Thank you for your question. Our 3-setting diverters will allow you to run the shower head and hand shower together or individually. Can I buy the Ara shower control only, without the shower head?

The Ara Monitor 17 series features the dial and shower head. I would like to purchase the dial only as I want to have a handshower. Is it possible to just buy the dial? Thanks.

Is this shower head part of your Touch-clean technology or does the head need to be cleaned with a vinegar solution?

Hello HeyJudeOregon, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta H2OKinetic Shower Head RP70171 that comes with the Ara Shower Trim T17267 does not come with the touch clean feature. The cleaning care we advise for all Delta units state: Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes. Avoid bleach-based cleaners Best regards, Tanya

The Temperature adjustment knob is plastic. What is the trick to installing the temperature knob, without cracking the plastic latch tabs? How does it align, is it a straight push and snap? Suggestion?

My understanding is that the shower head only has a single spray pattern. Is so, can I instead get a head that has 5 spray settings such as the In2ition model 58620-BL

The temperature control markings are backwards. Hot and cold indicators are opposite of how shower operates.
