The distance from the Delta MultiChoice Universal R10000 and the tub spout assembly must be between 8"-18" to avoid shower rise to the shower head when water is on at the tub spout assembly. Hi, Dean! Thank you for your question. There is a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted for hotter water. To do this, first, you may want to shut off the water supply to the shower or room first if possible. Next you will need to remove the temperature control cover then unscrew the phillips head screw on the gray temperature knob. Now you will see the Rotational Limit Stop which resembles a gear. Remove this part, and in order to allow more hot water, you will need to rotate it counterclockwise just a few settings as each tooth represents 4-6 degrees, and insert it back into the handle base. After this you may test the water. Keep in mind, it is best to only adjust this gradually to avoid potentially scalding temperatures. Once you have reached the desired maximum hottest temperature, you may put the handles back on. Best Regards, Rosanna

I believe it is for my diverter trim...t11997...says it doesn't come with the diverter trim.

Hi Karen, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately due to the fact that the 17T series offers both temperature and volume control the H798PN handle will not work with the T17T297-PN or T17T497-PN faucets. The handle is only compatible with the T14 series faucets. Thanks, Dave

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T097-PN is a valve only model. It does not include the shower head. We would recommend Delta Faucet model # RP52678PN for your showerhead.

Hi Bill, Thank you for your question. Venetian Bronze is a dark brown finish with copper colored brush marks throughout the entire surface. Oil Rubbed Bronze is even darker, almost black, and has copper colored highlights on the edges only. Although these finishes are very similar, the difference is noticeable. Best regards, Edward
