RESEÑAS
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Love doesn't last We love the touch feature, we live by it, and find ourselves tapping sinks everywhere we go that is not our kitchen. But, our faucet is 4 years now, and we had to essentially argue to get a replacement solenoid by year 3, and after another year it has gone out again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What junk! The only reason this faucet got 1 star is because 0 stars wasn't available. I am so disappointed, angry, and frustrated with this faucet. I cook a lot and I was so excited to have this "touch on" feature. I have spent far more money on plumbers bills to fix this faucet (multiple times) than its purchase price. I had this installed about 5 years ago. First, about two years in, I had water leaking from the handle. To Delta's credit, they sent me a replacement part free of charge, but the bill for the plumber was on me. Shortly after that the light that senses water temperature failed. I bought a new solenoid (a nearly $200 part) and paid the plumber's bill to replace it. Unfortunately, that did not solve the light issue -- the sensing for cold water worked, but the red light never worked again. I decided to ignore the temperature sensing malfunction since the faucet worked without it. Now, another two years down the road, the solenoid has failed again -- the "touch on" feature, which was the only reason I bought this faucet, no longer works. I could've paid a whole lot less for a conventional faucet, but the "touch on" feature was important to me. Something else to note: with the touch feature not working, regular use of the handle every day, all day, loosens the screw in the handle which makes the handle loose and flop around. The handle screw needs to be tightened weekly. TLDR: Save money and aggravation and buy another faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing at every turn I took comfort in the Delta name and lifetime warranty 9 years ago when I purchased my very first fancy touch faucet. About 6 months ago, while cleaning, it started its decline and ultimately became inoperable. Delta sent 2 sets of parts but the more I tinkered with the worse it got. Finally I received a new unit which was supposed to be an upgrade. Definitely not. A contractor installed last night and the touch worked perfectly. Today we’ve had to touch it up to 4 times to turn the unit on. The sprayer is weird and does not give a normal spray. Who wants 2 side sprays? The splashless option is pretty useless. The faucet doesn’t pull out smoothly like my previous unit but maybe that will wear down over time. The “upgraded” version style isn’t as modern looking with its handle as my previous version. So I am disappointed but after having no working faucet for 7 days I was grateful to be able to cook and clean the kitchen again. I’d love to share my video but only a YouTube video link is permitted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great products with outstanding customer service! We had a problem with our touch kitchen faucet and customer service walked me through the diagnostics to resolve. However this joint effort was not successful so Delta shipped me a new faucet assembly without charge to replace our 5 year old faucet and I received it in 2 days. I could not have asked for a better experience and I don’t get to say that often. Delta has a lifetime customer with me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the features. With a touch the water comes on and with a long hold the water either stays on (if was already on) or if just moving the faucet, the water will stay off. No surprise burst of water on the arm (like other manufacturers have). I also really like the light on the bottom of the faucet to in dictate if the water is cold, warm or hot.

After installed Worked great for 3 days. Then turned on by itself. Shut off and would not work again. Unplugged adapter and would start after replugging back in but would not work once touched. Any suggestions what to do?

Asked by: MadcustomerPete
Hello MadcustomerPete, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! Inconsistent operation with your Delta Faucet LELAND® Single Handle Pull-Down Bar / Prep Faucet With Touch2O® Technology MODEL#: 9678T-SP-DST can be fixed by making some isolation adjustments. I have included some helpful troubleshooting below. There are a couple of common adjustments that can be made to improve the faucet operation. Please make sure any wires are isolated from the solenoid box, the water supply lines, and anything else that might conduct electricity. If space is limited, we recommend a minimum of two inches of clearance, if possible. We also recommend placing the battery pack flat on the floor or as close to the ground at your feet as possible. The battery pack should have at least 2 inches of clearance from the walls or anything that can conduct electricity below the counter as the pack is also touch-sensitive. Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

Is there a way to adjust the hot and cold, our faucet does not provide warm water, it is either cold our scorching hot.

Asked by: Molly
Hi Molly, Thanks for your question regarding 9678T-SP-DST! The orange/red switch on the top of the Delta Valve Cartridge RP50587 is a handle limit stop which is an optional safety feature that can be used to prevent the handle from moving too far to the hot side. When it is switched all the way to the left, the handle can turn to the hottest position. When it is kept to the right, this will limit the handle to turn only halfway to the hot side. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Best Regards, Emma Digital Communications Specialist

The water flow through my Leland touch faucet is becoming very slow. The water pressure to the spray head is very good when I remove the spray head. I cannot see any deposits in the head filters. Do I need a new head?

Asked by: Kevin
Hello Kevin, Thank you for contacting us! I apologize about the low flow you are experiencing but am happy to help you. The Delta 9678T-SP-DST has a flow rate of 1.8 GPM @ 60 PSI, If your not getting this flow rate then we would recommend soaking the wand in 50/50 white vinegar and water to break up the debris or build up. Is it normal for the faucet to drip when not in use? It drips at least 1 gallon / hour.

Hi Vennael, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! It is possible there is residual water dripping out of the wand assembly. Please soak the wand in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for a couple of hours. This will loosen any debris or buildup blocking the way for water to come out properly. The Touch Faucet only works if I touch the handle or at the bottom base area where the handle is not the spout area. I use C batteries and they are only 1 month old. Model 9178T-SP-DST (purchased 3/19)

The other day the cold water stopped working, almost like the valve does not open when we move the handle to cold. No recent maintenance on the plumbing system or other indicators of trouble. Faucet has been in operation for approximately 6 mo

Asked by: Bills79
Hello Bills79, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. Best Regards, Nicole

When my faucet handle is in the on position but the water is off using the touch feature, water pools around the bottom of the faucet. If the handle is in the off position it doesn't leak. How can this be fixed?

Asked by: Doxie
Hi Doxie, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about the 9178T-SP-DST! I am sorry for the leak you are experiencing, at that location, we would recommend flushing the faucet and making sure the bonnet nut that holds the cartridge in the valve is tight. If the bonnet nut is tight, the cartridge would need replaced. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance.
