Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta R10000 shower valve and T17094 trim kit Not a plumber just a FIY guy but I can say this is just what I was looking for...a chance to adjust the pressure and temperature separately.The only thing I messed up on was putting the cartridge in? It can be installed 180° out which will put the temperature backwards-hot is cold cold is hot. Not knowing I could turn the cartridge 180° and it would be right I instead switched the hot to the right cold to the left. Anyone putting this together, if the temperature is backwards take cartridge out and turn it 180°.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tarnishes to look like Galvanized Steel After about 3 years, I notice that the chrome finish on everything is severely tarnished. Looks almost like galvanized steel. This should be covered under warranty, but I am already regretting pursing that. I spent over an hour and a half on hold, only to be told I need to talk to the tub+shower people (I did correctly select that option), who have gone for the day (probably why I got dumped onto her). I also submitted an online submission while waiting for that hour and a half. And I searched online reports and found that Delta seems to have a corporate policy of ignoring those, which is why I stuck it out and waited for the phone to pick up. BTW, the online warranty form gives you 3 photos and 250 characters to make your case. Really! Other than that, it's OK. But I would not recommend it or buy it again (I bought two, so my 2x tub+showers could match) due to the poor finish durability and horrendous warranty customer service. I guess I could always paint it. Pics attached. The third one is what the other one I bought (at the same time) looks like after I just finished installing it in the other bathroom. Looks great now, and made me realize something is seriously wrong with the other one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Venetian bronze finish does not hold up well The shower valve trim is a little over 5 years old and started to deteriorate after a couple years. The diverted valve has held up just fine. See pics. The valve itself is great, ability to control temperature and volume independently is a really nice feature.

When I turn water on it did not begin flow until well after half way from the handle's starting position. I followed installation exactly. Any thing I should look to adjust to begin water flow sooner when turning handle?

Hi, Dfnse55! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, there is no adjustment for the Delta T17094 shower trim kit to have the flow come out sooner. This is normal for all Delta Monitor trim kits.I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Best Regards, Rosanna

What will I need to purchase

I have a Rain Shower and hand held shower and would like to replace the American Standard with Delta products. I'm considering the Linden Monitor 17 Series - Model T17094 and the Delta 3 Setting 2 Port Diverter - Model T11800. Do these come with the cartridges and what rough valves will be needed for these two products. Also, my hand held shower and arm are in very good shape, do I need to replace them if I'm switching to the Monitor 17 and Diverter above?

I installed T17094s in two bathrooms, both of them also installed with R10000-UNBXTs. I notice the other answer does not have the T on the end, and am not sure what that means, if anything. But I installed those with no problems and excellent results until the the Chome plating tarnished.

Does this require replacing in-wall plumbing?

I would like to replace my generic single function (temperature only) shower valve control but do not want to replace anything behind the wall. Will the T17094 be compatible so that all I have to do is remove the current shower valve control and install the T17094? Or do I also have to install the universal rough valve too?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17094 does not need to have the valve replaced if you have the R10000 series rough in valve already in the wall or you already had a 1700 series valve in the wall. If you have the R10000 multi-choice valve in the wall, then you can replace the new trim easily. If you had an older valve in the wall, you may still use the new trim, but keep your old cartridge. The cartridge that is included with your T17094 will not fit in the older valves.

For the T17094 chrome version, do the words on/off and Delta have some kind of coloring on/in them? They appear gold-ish in the picture.

No coloring at all. Just engraved indentations in the chrome. I just went and looked carefully at mine to confirm. Review posted just now with pics.

Diverter to add hand shower

Installing the RP52382 with the T17094 and also want to add Vero Wall Mount Hand Shower 555530. What diverter is needed in the wall?

Thank you for your question. We would recommend using Delta Faucet model # R11000 diverter valve along with Delta Faucet model # T11853 diverter trim to complete this faucet set up. By using this rough and trim, you will be able to use the showerhead or the handshower separately or together.

What else is required

I am replacing my tub/shower with just a shower. I would like to have hand shower, rain shower, both as settings. I am purchasing the following on Amazon T11894 - 3 Setting Diverter Trim R11000 - 3/6 Setting Diverter Rough R10000-UNBXHF - MultiChoice® Universal Rough - Shower Only 51405 - Slide Bar Hand Shower 50560 ? Does this monitor come with the cartridge for R10000-UNBXHF? Also which 50560 elbow do I need for 51405? Is this everything I would need for the replacement?

Hi Tommyboy, Thank you for your question. It looks like you have almost everything you need except the raincan showerhead, the shower arm, and the shower flange for your setup. You will need the 50560 for your handshower to supply the water. We have several raincan showerheads to choose from and three sizes of ceiling mount shower arms which include the flanges. Thanks. Will T17094 work with R10000UNWS and does it have "Monitor" Feature?

If I run a "Compare" with other models, it shows that the T17094 does not work with Multichoice Universal Valve, and does not have the " Monitor" feature. Is this correct, or is it just a mistake in the web site?
