I had to call in another plumber that explained it and it now works perfectly. Love using the wand-haven’t even tried the shower head yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks good, but plastic use questioned We purchased this unit because it matched the Delta sink faucets we bought. Although the tub spout and faucet knob look good, the shower head doesn't. We are replacing it with another shower head of similar appearance. Although we understand the rational for using plastic on a tub faucet as children may touch it. Shower heads are a feature that are not often touched or manipulated by adults let alone children. We are therefore disappointed by this feature.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delta: Please go back to metal! I selected this Delta trim kit hoping to save the expense of replacing my existing Delta valve by just changing the trim. Several reviews were critical that the handle is the only part that isn't plastic, so I called customer service to see if there are any Delta models that are all metal. I was told that all the tub spouts and shower heads Delta makes are plastic now. According to the Delta rep, the advantage of plastic is that it won't scald someone if the water is too hot. I'm not opposed to plastic if it is durable and looks good, so I went ahead with the purchase. The box was carefully packed, but right on the front of the spout was a nick in the finish. The shower head, also plastic, had several nicks on the back. I sent everything back and ordered Moen instead, which I was happy to learn still makes all-metal tub/shower trim kits. I prefer Moen's designs over Delta anyway, and they are less expensive. But the valve change will be a significant added expense. Too bad.

The shower head, top handle (lever for "hot/cold") and even the tub spout is plastic; I found this strange. I was shocked as there is no mention of plastic in the description.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good but one part seems cheap We remodeled two bathrooms using Ara 17 designs, one with a tub/shower and one just a shower. Both look good and function very well with one complaint. In both the cover over the temperature control valve either has come off or is very loose. The one that has come off was very loose from the start and the other one seems like it will come off in a matter of time. We can put it back on and it will stay on for a while but it would be great to have some replacements that would stay on.

is there only 1 spray pattern? plumber just finished installing but noticed I couldn't change pattern. Can i swap out with another head if i wanted to eventually? why limit to 255 chars?

It says there is volume control connected with temperature control. Can you reduce the volume and maintain temperature?

new model T17467,

is the mixing valve for this new model specific to this model only. Could any standard mixing valve be used for the installation of T 17467. when at the earliest is the kit and specifically the mixing valve available.

Hi Heidi, Thank you for your question. The model T17467 Ara trim will use our R10000 multichoice rough in to make a complete faucet. The R10000 rough ins are available now and the T17467 is currently due to ship out in late March. Thanks, Dave

Ara Monitor T14467-SSH2O

Similar to a previous question: Will my current mixing valve for the existing shower fixtures work with this new trim kit or do I absolutely NEED to use the one recommended by Delta (R10000-UNBXHF)?

Hi Colton, Thank you for your question. If you have a pre-2006 1300/1400 series shower, you can use any 13/14 series trim, such as the T14467-SSH2O. However, you will need to use the existing cartridge rather than the one that comes with the kit. Similarly, if you have at 1700 series shower, you update it with any 17 series trim by using the existing cartridge. Units made after September 2006 (13/14, 17 or 17T series) will have a MultiChoice R10000 valve. Best regards, Jon

T17467-BL. for my tube the plastic broke on the little piece that you pull up to switch from tub to shower. Only need spout (?) or way to fix the pull up.

I just had a T14467-BL Matte Black ARA Monitor 14 series h2o kinetic tub and shower single lever installed on my bathtub. The bath faucet only puts out 2 gallons per minute. How do I increase the volumn?

Which direction is supposed to increase the water temp when turning the temp control handle on model T17467-BL? Currently, turning it clockwise increases the water temp which seems backwards. If this is incorrect how can it be corrected?

The temperature knob would be turned counterclockwise to increase the temperature. If the hot and cold supplies are reversed, the cartridge can be reversed for back-to-back or reverse installations.
