RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Uncleanable Faucet Sprayer I purchased my Delta Trinsic faucet 4.5 years ago. The sprayer is clogged and the spray switch has become unmovable and difficult change the spray. I removed the sprayer head and found there is no way to access the aerator. I soaked it in vinegar and then tried CLR. No difference. There is no way to clean this faucet sprayer! Now I find myself here reading about others who have had the same problem. I can’t believe I have to buy the entire spray assembly again! So sorry bought this faucet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great kitchen faucet I have had two Delta kitchen faucets that I installed during kitchen renovations. The first developed a blemish on the finish. Amazingly a replacement arrived the same day I sent a pic to let them know! I need a replacement pull-down sprayer on the second faucet and will gladly buy a replacement, because the rest of the faucet is like brand new after 12 years of use.

Preguntas y respuestas

I purchased this about a year ago. I cleaned the aerator but i still have low water pressure. Is there anything I should clean or replace?

Asked by: waterfuze
Hi, waterfuze! Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet Trinsic® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet In Matte Black MODEL#: 9159-BL-DST! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is the information needed to resolve your issue for you. Reduced flow is typically caused by debris. We recommend flushing the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shutoff valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet. If this does not help, please let us know. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley

The plastic mesh piece at the very end of the faucet head has broken, so a heavy stream is what comes out. I'd call it the aerator, but I think that's a metal mesh piece within the faucet head. Is this little grey plastic mesh piece replaceable?

Asked by: Sabeth
Hi Sabeth, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing locating this information. We will be happy to assist you in resolving this issue as quickly as possible. The Delta Faucet TRINSIC® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet In Matte Black MODEL#: 9159-BL-DST sprayer can be removed by either pulling directly out from the spout or by twisting 90° in either direction which will cause the magnets to repel and the head to decouple from the spout. Please refer to the maintenance and installation guide for more details, I have attached the link below. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/106557%20Rev%20C.pdf Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Is there a left hand cartridge for this that would allow me to move the handle to the left side?

Asked by: Bryan
Hi Bryan, Thanks for your question regarding 9959-CZ-DST! No, there is not a left-handed cartridge for this model. We recommend installing the faucet with the handle on the right. The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on and rotating forward to increase the temperature. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the movement, so if the handle is installed on the left or front, it will rotate backward. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Best Regards, Emma Digital Communications Specialist

The hot water for the faucet only gets warm.  Any suggestions?

Asked by: SoCalGuy
Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please gather towels, a 5 GAL bucket, or a large bowl. 1. Unscrew the wand from the hose and check the inside of the wand for debris. With the wand removed, point the hose into the drain and turn the faucet on for 1 minute to flush the hose. *Please do not release the hose with the wand removed or it may retract into the faucet.* 2. Turn the handle to the off position, gather towels and place the bucket or large bowl under the sink, disconnect the hose assembly from the gray PEX tube. 3. Turn the water on and flush the PEX tube for 1 minute, turn the water off, and re-connect the hose. 4. Turn the water on and check for leaks. If you are still experiencing a low flow, the inlet tubing may need to be flushed. 1. Please shut off both hot AND cold water supplies. 2. Remove the COLD water line and point the line into the bucket. 3. Turn the HOT water on and allow the water to flow into the bucket for about a minute. 4. Turn the HOT water back off and install the cold water line correctly. 5. Remove the HOT water line and point the line into the bucket. 6. Turn the COLD water on and allow the water to flow into the bucket for about a minute. 7. Turn the COLD water back off and install the hot water line correctly. We appreciate your inquiry. how do I disasemble this clogged faucet head? thank you

Asked by: konrad
Hello konrad, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available on our TRINSIC® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Limited Swivel MODEL#: 9159-ARLS-DST, and I am happy to help you! We recommend flushing the unit and checking for where the blockage is located, To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Please contact us back with any further questions. Hi John, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! Our Delta Faucet Trinsic® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Limited Swivel In Chrome MODEL#: 9159-LS-DST would need to be flushed. Low flow is caused by a blockage or debris, and we would recommend flushing the unit. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

Two inquiries: 1. Is the faucet appropriate for an outdoor kitchen. 2. Confirm that the sprayer is not made of plastic.

Thank you for your question, Norm! No, we do not recommend installing model 9959-AR-DST in an outdoor setting. The sprayer is non-metallic. Best Regards, Benjamin
