RESEÑAS
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hot and cold labels not consistent I have both this faucet and the Trinsic single-handle bathroom vanity faucet. The cold and hot label are in the opposite direction. For one faucet, when you pull towards the wall, it is hot; in the other, it is cold. It is dangerous for young children, and annoying for us and guests as it is not consistent. Is there any way this can be fixed?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Touch Technology Isn’t There Yet This thing turns on and off randomly, the touch works and doesn’t work, the batteries die after 1-2 months and then no water passes at all (so definitely have many spares on hand)… it does look nice though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great!! But handle needs a cover. Installed this a few years ago: Love it! However the handle needs a cover so it doesn’t activate the on/off switch for water supply when trying regulate the volume/temp. Frustrating but manageable. Hopefully Delta has a handle cover (can’t find one).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed with Delta I registered this product when it was first purchased in 2018. The product no longer works and as I try to find out warranty information, Delta deleted my original registration. Now I have to re-register my product again to even get help. This is both an inconvenience and perhaps a policy change if they no longer provide warranty on my product. Frustrating!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best finish for hard water It was very easy to install and so far works very well. I just wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who has hard water as it shows every single water spot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Touch activation very touchy I have remodeled a lot of homes, and lived in them after. I would not buy the touch version again. It doesn't work well and can shut the water off for a while when it gets confused. We have a lot of problems just turning the faucet on. We have to turn it on with the handle and then touch it again. I have had two other touch activated or touchless faucets and they worked well . This one is a pain. The one good thing is that the handle can be rotated to the front, so you really don't need the touch activated version to keep water from dripping near the handle all the time. I would buy the standard version over the touch activated version. My other problem is the spray head seems to ricochet water all over the place. I haven't had this problem with other faucets. Even when I turn the pressure down under the sink this faucet seems to ricochet water everywhere and the counters always get wet. I wouldn't buy this faucet again.

Battery Box Location

Hello, In the install directions, it says that the optimal location for the battery box is on the cabinet floor vs the cabinet wall. Why is this? Thanks!
Asked by: triplee121
Hi triplee121, Thank you for your question. We recommend placing the battery box on the floor of the cabinet as it is used to establish a base-line for the Touch2O feature. The closer to the ground it is the better reading it will get. Best regards, Jon

Can the handle be mounted on the LEFT

I currently have a kitchen faucet with a detached handle mounted in a hole 4" to the right of the faucet. I'm looking to replace this setup with a single handle kitchen faucet that will let me mount the handle on the LEFT side so I can use the existing hole 4" on the right for a filtered water dispenser. Questions: 1) Will this faucet let me mount the handle on the left? 2) Is there anything related to mounting the faucet that will interfere with my re-use of the hole 4" to the right of the faucet?
Asked by: Dr. Horse Jumper
Hi Dr. Horse Jumper, Thank you for your question. The faucet is designed for the handle to be installed on the right. Unfortunately, installing it on the left will cause the handle to rotate backwards, and the LED light will not be visible. Best regards, Jon

Cleaning. Mineral build up

I have this trinsic kitchen faucet in champagne bronze. The end of the faucet on the bronze finish is starting to develop mineral build up. What should I clean this with? I have had this product for one year. Thank you.
Asked by: Meghan
Hi, Meghan, Thank you for your question. We recommend to clean with 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution mix. Here is more suggestions from our FAQ: Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes Avoid bleach-based cleaners Best Regards, Rosanna

Can this faucet be placed in permanent bypass mode? Looking to eliminate the tap mode

Asked by: sttarks
Hi, sttarks. Thank you for your question. The Delta 9959T-AR-DST faucet touch function can be manually bypassed. To do this, first turn the water off at your water supply for your faucet. Under the sink, you will see the solenoid assembly with two water lines coming from the bottom and top of the solenoid. These are connected with two blue clips. Remove the two clips to remove the whole solenoid assembly. Connect the two lines together and secure this connection with one of the blue clips. Pull the connection to make sure the connection is tightly secured. Please contact us back if you should need further assistance. Best Regards, Rosanna

My faucet water flow has slowed to a trickle. How do I fix this?

Asked by: Anna
Hi, Anna! Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your Delta faucet. We recommend to flush the lines and clean the debris screen at your solenoid assembly under the sink. To flush the lines, make sure your handle is in the 'off' position. Disconnect the top hose from your solenoid assembly and point it into a bucket. Turn on the water from your handle and let the water flow through the open hose into the bucket. Does it have adequate flow? Since the hose is disconnected, this is a good time to take the debris screen out of the solenoid. The debris screen is located in the opening of the solenoid where the hose was connected into. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the small debris screen out. Clean the debris screen by rinsing it in running water at another faucet in your home since your kitchen faucet will be disconnected. Install it back into the solenoid and connect everything back up. Turn the handle in the off position. Disconnect the hose from the bottom of the solenoid. Point the whole solenoid into the bucket. Turn the handle in the 'on' position. Flush the solenoid through. If this does not fix the flow issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

What does a red light on mean?

A red light keeps coming on instead of the blue light? What does this mean?
Asked by: AJK
Hi AJK, Thank you for your question! For models manufactured prior to 2015, a solid red light means that the batteries will need to be replaced. Solenoids manufactured after January 2015 will cause the light to flash red when the faucet is turned on or off if the batteries need to be replaced. Best regards, Jon

Blue Light On or Off

When the faucet lever is on (open), and the water is off and not flowing, should the blue light be off since the water is not flowing? Or should the blue light be on even when the water is not flowing? As of now, the blue light only comes on when the water is flowing, and off when it is not. Is this correct?
Asked by: Tom
Hi Tom, Thank you for your question. What you are describing is correct. The blue light should be on only when the water is flowing. The light should not be on when the handle is in the on position but the touch feature is used to turn the water off. Thanks, Dave

Just had this installed 3 days ago and it just stopped working. Replaced the batteries and it started functioning again. It doesn’t rely on batteries for manual function so what is going on?!

Asked by: Jessica B
Thank you for your question, Jessica B! The solenoid assembly is a component or "valve" that opens and closes when the faucet is touched. The faucet will work manually with the handle so long as this valve is open, however if left in a "closed" position while without power, this valve is unable to open on its own. Before this happens, the faucet can be put into a manual model by touching the faucet on and removing the lid of the battery box, or by removing the solenoid assembly entirely. An optional A/C power supply is available for purchase and will work in conjunction with the battery pack to ensure your model never looses power. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=EP73954 Best regards, Edward

My faucet is now dripping once turned off. How do I stop this dripping problem from occurring. This wastes a lot of water over time. Is there a seal that may be worn out? My faucet is only typo and a half years old. Thank you!

Hi Chris 20038, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about your 9159T-DST! Leaking can be caused by debris not allowing the cartridge to seal properly, we would recommend flushing the faucet and soak the cartridge in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. If the leak continues, the cartridge would need replaced. I have included a link below to the step-by-step instructions on flushing the faucet. https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/What-do-I-do-if-my-single-handle-kitchen-faucet-drips-from-the-spout-outlet-DST-model Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance.
