RESEÑAS
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hot and cold labels not consistent I have both this faucet and the Trinsic single-handle bathroom vanity faucet. The cold and hot label are in the opposite direction. For one faucet, when you pull towards the wall, it is hot; in the other, it is cold. It is dangerous for young children, and annoying for us and guests as it is not consistent. Is there any way this can be fixed?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great!! But handle needs a cover. Installed this a few years ago: Love it! However the handle needs a cover so it doesn’t activate the on/off switch for water supply when trying regulate the volume/temp. Frustrating but manageable. Hopefully Delta has a handle cover (can’t find one).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed with Delta I registered this product when it was first purchased in 2018. The product no longer works and as I try to find out warranty information, Delta deleted my original registration. Now I have to re-register my product again to even get help. This is both an inconvenience and perhaps a policy change if they no longer provide warranty on my product. Frustrating!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unreliable - worst purchase ever We bought this in July 23 and installed/started using in Jan 24. We always struggled with getting the touch feature to work, but its gotten worse to the point that 2.5months in I get water in my kitchen maybe 1 time out of 7-8 times I try in a day! We just go through a big ennovation and remodel and the last thing Iw anted was to have to deal with product issues when you invest in a supposedly high quality product. never buying Delta again. Will now see if my husband can figure out how to disable the electronic part and make it manual and will be sure to tell all our friends who are remodelling to stay away from Delta

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why is your customer service to bad? Subject: Disappointing Experience with [Kitchen Faucet Brand] I recently purchased a this faucet and I must say it has been an incredibly frustrating experience. The faucet itself has – rusted, unreliable, and prone to leaks. But the real nightmare began when I attempted to seek assistance from their customer service. It's as if they've adopted a strategy of actively avoiding customer inquiries. The response time was abysmal, and when I finally did get in touch, the representative seemed disinterested and unhelpful. I regret investing my hard-earned money in a product that not only fails in functionality but also in providing basic customer support. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a reliable kitchen faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible customer service for this crappy product Within 6 months the inside rusted causing the outside to rust as well. When called customer service they insinuated that I wasn’t keeping it clean. My old cheap faucet lasted longer than this. They refuse to uphold warranty for cheap material and a cheap product. It leaks, has rust and just appalling customer service what a shame.

Water is dripping from the spout after turning off the faucet through touch (handle is still on). If I shut down the handle completely then the water doesn’t drip. How can I handle this problem?

Asked by: Yeun
Hello Yeun, Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for the leak when touched off that you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet model 9159T-DST Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Touch2O® Technology and I am happy to help you. The leak when off you are experiencing appears to be caused by debris within the solenoid assembly. We recommend doing a flush on your electronic components. Please follow the below steps to resolve your drip: 1. Put the handle in the off position. 2. Remove the blue clip that is attached to the top of the solenoid assembly below the sink. 3. Pull the solenoid off of the faucet connection. Remove the debris screen in the top connection if able and clear any debris with tweezers or a q-tip. 4. Set a bucket under the pex supply line that is exposed. 5. Place the handle in the on position and allow it to run water for 2 full minutes. This will clear the supply line out of any debris. 6. Put the handle back into the off position. 7. Reconnect the solenoid to the faucet and clip it back into place. 8. Now remove the bottom clip from the solenoid where the hose connects and pull the hose off. 9. Turn the water back on for an additional 2 minutes to clear the solenoid assembly of any remaining debris. 10. Reconnect the hose and clip it into place again. Once that is finished, turn the water on to the faucet and run it for 15 seconds. Please contact us back directly via email with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler

We have a 9159t -dst faucet. It is about 4 years old. Just recently it has started to drip when shot off with touch mode. If turned off manually it does not drip. Could you let me know the possible problem. Thanks you!

Asked by: Jeff
Hello Jeff, Thank you for your question! We apologize for the leak you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet Trinsic Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Touch2O Technology In Chrome MODEL: 9159T-DST and will be happy to help you. Leaking is typically caused by debris, which can get caught in a few different areas of the faucet. Please try the following steps, so we can better assist you: 1) First, please unscrew the wand from the hose and turn the faucet on for 4 minutes to flush the lines and see if you get good flow out of the end of the hose. Please check for debris in the wand and re-attach it. Be careful not to let go of the hose with the wand removed, or it may retract into the faucet. 2) Next, turn the handle to the off position, place a bucket under the sink, disconnect the solenoid assembly from the gray PEX tube and check for debris in the screen at the top of the solenoid assembly. If the solenoid assembly is gray, the screen cannot be removed. If it is black, you can use a pair of needle-nose pliers to take the screen out and clean it. 3) Finally, reattach everything and test the flow rate from the wand again. If this does not resolve the issue, please let us know the results of the tests. Please also provide your address, phone number, and email along with the approximate date that the faucet was installed and a photo of the sticker on the solenoid assembly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley

I have a Delta Leland 9159T-DST faucet that was working well but now I get no hot water. All other faucets have hot water. What can I check?

Asked by: Denny faucet
Hi Denny, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 9159T-DST Trinsic® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Touch2O® Technology In Chrome. I apologize for not having hot water. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! The issue is likely caused by water debris in the hot water supply or faucet. To flush the faucet, turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge, and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If the issue remains, I recommend replacing the cartridge assembly. See the part diagram for the part number for your date of manufacture. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-K-9159T-DST%20Rev%20F.pdf Please reach out if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Love this faucet, but my hose will no longer stay attached to the faucet (hangs there), the little magnet/gasket broke off. Is there a replacement part?

Asked by: Schmitt

My 9159T faucet is leaking when the handle is in the on position in between touches. It stops when I manually turn off. Can you tell me what parts I need to repair it? Is the DELTA Valve MODEL#: RP60114 all I need or are there other parts I need?

Asked by: FBJJ
Hi FBJJ, Thank you for your review of the Delta Faucet TRINSIC® Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 9159T-DST. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are always happy to assist you. Quality is very important to us and our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high-quality performance.   It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue. To flush the solenoid: Keep the handle in the off position. Remove the clip that is attached to the braided hose on the bottom of the solenoid. After the hose is removed, place a bucket under the solenoid, and then open the handle. It's helpful to have someone control the handle while the other person is in the cabinet with the bucket. We would also advise flushing the hot and cold lines. 1. Please be sure to turn the water supply off before beginning this process. 2. Move the handle to the full mixed position. 3. Disconnect the faucet supply line from the hot side. 4. Position a bucket with the supply line connection inside the bucket. 5. Turn on the supply stop on the connected supply line side slowly, directing the water from the disconnected side into the bucket. 6. Reconnect the supply line. *Please use caution when flushing the hot water.* You'll want to repeat steps 1-6 for the cold side. Once you've done the flushing, you can turn the water supply back on to the faucet. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us directly if you have any further questions.    Best Regards,   Kelley Digital Communications Specialist

How do you change the cartridge?

Asked by: fredoxx4
Hi fredoxx4! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. You will need to shut off your faucets water supply before repairing the faucet. You will then use a 1/8th allen wrench to remove the handle and then a crescent wrench to remove the bonnet nut. You will then be able to replace the cartridge. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us again. Best Regards, Carrie
