Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thes monitor and scalding 'technology' is not needed. These 'safety' features are not needed and in fact these features are more likely to fail as like thermostats they wear out faster. You don't need these pressure monitoring 'technology' it shuts off and you have to wait like an hour for it to ' rebalance'. Theball valve faucet 'technology' has not changed since the 60's and 50's and it's perfect and genius design compared to the old seat faucet cartridges using 'washers' which had to be replaced every year. . . Adding new 'safety' technology is not necessary.. Durability is more important less garbage and wasted time replacing parts that may be discontinued and you have to replace entire plumbing which cost thousands. These plumbing suppliers make majority of their revenue from 'NEW' construction' and selling garbage to new home buyers that will see their plumbling break or malfunction in 10 years instead of 25 years. causing more wasted time and money and garbage in the landfills.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I placed these items in my guest bathrooms, and the items look nice, but the brilliance stainless finish is awful. The water spots left on it, after just one use, is terrible. And it' hard to clean off. I ordered this finish for my master bathroom remodel as well, but will be returning them. Bummer because I've already installed the rough in valves in master so I have to stick with Delta products.

The color is great and matches perfectly for what we have with our other sinks and fixtures. The rubbed oil bronze doesn't peel or crack when cleaned and scrubbed with a hard bristle brush. This was also extremely easy to install and the instructions were super easy to follow.

Not only was the install fairly easy, the look when it's finished is even better. The finish on the shower pieces themselves is stunning! The shower handle is easy to maneuver and the shower itself is easily adjustable! The perfect touch to a rustic home!

The finish is smooth and rustic and beautiful. The install was not as difficult as I thought it would be, especially for not being a professional. But the instructions were spot on. It's easy to use, the control lever maneuvers easily. So happy with the improved shower look! If you love the rustic look and feel, this is the perfect piece to accent it out in the bathroom!

Is the tub spout made of plastic or metal?

Dear EagerColin, Thank you for your question. The tub spout that comes with the Delta Linden Tub/Shower T14494 model is non metallic. We do not make this tub spout style in metal. Best regards, Tanya

We purchased an older home and need to upgrade the tub/shower kit. What is in now is a Delta so the plumber told us we had to replace it with Delta and gave us this number. Do you make other models in metal that would fit? No plastic please.

My plumber insists the tub spout for this model should have come with a set screw and one did not come with it. Does the tub spout need a set screw? Thanks,

Hi, Carolyn76! Thank you for your question. The tub spout assembly for theDelta Monitor T14438 faucet is part number RP51303. This tub spout does not need a set screw as it can be sweated onto 1/2" C.W.T. or threaded onto 1/2" IPS. Best Regards, Rosanna

Faucet Handle-water temp

We had this installed last week and the faucet handle only rotates to the 12 o'clock position (I expected it would go to 9 o'clock). Thus the water doesn't get very hot...quite warm but not hot. Can this be adjusted or is the faucet designed to do this? Thanks!

Based on your description, you will just need to adjust your rotational limit stop to get hotter water from the faucet and for the handle to rotate a little further. Have delta 1700 series would like to put the delta T14494 rb in its place no bath just shower. Is this doable for an arborist not a plumber.

Thank you for your question, Captainzoom! This trim will require a MultiChoice R10000 Rough-In Valve or an existing 1400 Series valve and cartridge. How can I take off the handle in order to adjust the rotational limit stop?

My retailer information says that I must use a R10000-UNBX rough-in valve with this T14494 tub/shower trim. Can I also use a DR10000PX with this T14494 trim kit? Thanks!
